During my time at Metro Training Services, I always found it to be a fantastic atmosphere for training in preparation for the Automotive Industry, from the excellent knowledge and relevant experience of the tutors, to the fact it runs alongside a real working automotive workshop.

I found I was getting more from it than friends on a dedicated polytechnic course as I was able to see and experience the "real world" goings on of a workshop.

The team were always extremely helpful, in all aspects, from the moment I walked through the door, from theory to practical, they had it extremely well covered. Their helping me secure work experience throughout the year was second to none, with their relationship with many of the local workshops made it a lot easier!

I really believe, without their help, I wouldn't be in the position I am now. Training with Metro Training Services definately gave me a real kick start to my apprenticeship, and put me in an advantageous position with prospective employers at the end of it! It is definately the 1st place I would recommend to anyone looking at getting into the Automotive Industry!

I would recommend to anyone looking at going into the automotive industry to look at doing this course as it gives the basic knowledge required to not only achieve an apprenticeship but to fix your own car as well!

The tutors were great; Damo and Jim provided me with one on one training, and at a pace that I could manage, and on the topics that I had some knowledge of Damien stepped back and allowed me to work through, all the while asking questions to extend my knowledge above what was expected.

I finished the course two months early and they helped me in organising interviews for the work I wanted to do.
